Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MewMax AI collects, uses, and protects information when you use the MewMax AI iOS app and website. If you have questions, contact us at support@mewmaxai.com.

Information We Collect

  • Face scan photos: the front selfie and side profile images you choose to submit for a FaceScan. These images may show your face, jawline, chin, neck, and surrounding photo context.
  • No biometric identifiers: MewMax AI does not create faceprints, facial recognition templates, face geometry identifiers, biometric authentication profiles, or identity verification records.
  • Generated analysis: jawline score, confidence, jawline read, retake guidance, focus areas, and routine guidance.
  • Purchase information: subscription status, product identifiers, and purchase history handled through Apple and RevenueCat.
  • Identifiers: an anonymous app user identifier, attribution identifiers, and device or app metadata used for subscription access, analytics, attribution, and app functionality.
  • Support information: information you include when contacting support by email.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide the app, generate your jawline score and analysis, personalize your routine, save scan history, verify subscription access, improve reliability, respond to support requests, and meet legal or App Store requirements.

Face Data and AI Processing

Before a FaceScan runs, the app asks you to confirm that the selected face scan photos may be sent for AI processing. If you confirm, MewMax AI sends your compressed front selfie and side profile photo to our backend service, which is hosted on Cloudflare Workers, and then to OpenAI so the app can generate your FaceScan score, written analysis, personalized routine guidance, and retake guidance.

Face scan photos are used only to provide FaceScan functionality and related product personalization inside MewMax AI. We do not use face scan photos to identify you, authenticate you, recognize you across services, train a MewMax facial recognition system, or determine protected or sensitive traits. Do not upload photos you do not have permission to use.

Sharing with Service Providers

MewMax AI shares face scan photos only with service providers needed to run the FaceScan feature: Cloudflare Workers for backend request processing and OpenAI for AI image analysis. Face scan photos and generated FaceScan analysis are not shared with AppsFlyer, PostHog, RevenueCat, or advertising partners.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple. MewMax AI uses RevenueCat to verify subscription status and manage access to Pro features. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Storage and Retention

The app may store saved FaceScan results and compressed scan photos locally on your device and in your private iCloud/CloudKit account when available. MewMax AI's Cloudflare Worker does not keep a persistent database of face scan photos after the analysis request completes. OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days, unless a different retention setting applies.

Saved FaceScan history remains available until you delete app data from your device, remove the app's iCloud data, or contact us for help with a deletion request. We retain other information only as long as needed to provide the app, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, or support legitimate business needs.

Analytics, Attribution, Tracking, and Sale of Data

We do not sell personal information. MewMax AI uses analytics, subscription, and attribution providers, including PostHog, RevenueCat, and AppsFlyer, to understand product usage, verify subscriptions, measure paid-acquisition performance, and improve the app. These providers may receive identifiers, purchase metadata, attribution data, and app event data. They do not receive your face scan photos or generated FaceScan analysis from MewMax AI.

Your Choices

You can delete saved app data from your device, manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings, and contact us to request help with privacy questions or deletion requests.

Children

MewMax AI is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
